Tips & Help for the Hidden Valleys Scenario! Build up one strong hero as soon as possible to go after the monsters that guard the pass near your castle as well as the monsters that guard the very scarce treasures and landmarks. Do not allow this hero to waste time picking up treasure (unless an opponent's hero is near). Always keep one rank empty to recruit monsters if possible. Remember, the monsters that your heroes don't engage in battle or recruitment may be available for recruiting by your opponent's hero! Recruit a second hero to acquire the treasures and claim the landmarks as soon as the strong hero has defeated the monsters guarding the pass. Recruit a third hero to stay put around the castle to defend it from the opponent's heroes which will soon arrive -- but only after your other heroes have moved out onto the meadows. If possible, allow your opponents to engage the guardians of the center LITH first, then move in to enter the lith. Trust me: the hidden valleys are very dangerous. Go in fully loaded and prepared for quite a battle. The valleys contain very powerful artifacts and numerous resources. The first heroes to get into the valleys (and survive) will become super heroes. If your opponent leaves his castle undefended... go for it. Otherwise, concentrate on building up a powerful hero and getting to the hidden valleys first.
