Tips & Help for the Shattered Alliances Scenario! Build a mage tower, equip at least heroes with spell books (if necessary), and go forth to collect as many resources on the first turns as you can. Every time a former ally's hero wanders across the bridge that connects the two formerly allied castles, take him or her out immediately. When you've prevented your former ally from getting resources and he has exhausted his gold and can not recruit any more heroes, go up and immediately take control of his castle. At this point, you will have PLENTY of time to bulk up, collect all the resources laying around, take control of the mines on your continent, and get at least three or four buff heroes. The enemy troops from the other continent will not be coming through the liths any time soon. When you think you have a strong enough hero or heroine, go through the liths. Ignore the upper swamp island and the lower desert island. Make your way through the liths until you come to the other continent and immediately attack the nearest castle. At this point, if you are successful in gaining control of the castle it is only a matter of time until you gain control of the other castles and clear out the opponents heroes. Note: If an opponent does come through the lith onto your continent, then he is way more buff than you are. In that case, attempt to send a strong hero through the lith to the lower desert isle and pump him or her up. Then return to attack the other continent.
