Map Name: The Journey (Sequel to The Cloak and part II of the Shadow Land series) Map Maker: Andy Duffy (ShadowMaker) E-Mail Address: a.duffy@virgin.net Map Type: 1h, 2C, small Difficulty: I'd say normal. Doesn't really matter, it's all opinion. Description: Having recovered the Ancient Fire Cloak, the time has come to move after Rayurt. Beware though, he has many powerful minions. Lot's of events and rumours. Don't forget to read the document "Part 2" that is also supplied, it is the start and end of the map) Special Win: Defeat the enemy Alliance Special Loss: Lose the hero Halvac All Human Sides Completely Play-Tested: Many times over. I'm now thoroughly sick of the map :-) If you have any questions, complaints, criticisms or advice then feel free to email me (I may not answer but I will be grateful for your feedback). Bear in mind that the game was built for "Normal" skill so easy should be slightly easier and other difficulties should be significantly harder. It is possible that at the higher diffculties it may be too difficult for some people (A previous map had this problem). There are a lot of events on the map (all of which should be triggered just by playing the game). I have tried to make it so that while you're playing the game it is like a storyline. However it is possible to triggerthe occasional event out of sequence if you have a totally different way of playing Heroes2 to me. It shouldn't spoil it for you though. Cyalater Andy D. SPOILER INFORMATION FOLLOWS PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK! SPOILERS: WARNING!!! SPOILER INFORMATION FOLLOWS PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK! Do you really need a spoiler? Well there shouldn't be all that many. Always check for events in "corridors" I guess if you've played any of my maps, you'll have a rough idea where I like to put them :-) Certain stacks are more likely to join using diplomacy. Try to develop diplomacy as soon as possible. The following stacks seem to join quite often in this map: The Titan guarding the gem mine will often join for 5000gp after about 3 weeks when you have any level of diplomacy. The steel golems also regulary join for both diplomacy and greater glory. The Rocs also from time to time.
