The goal is to recruit all creature types of all alignments except ballista, mermaid, and sea monster and bring them to a quest hut. You need to bring at least one creature of each creature type. You recruit creatures by building town dwellings, capturing external dwellings, hiring heroes with summoning or necromancy skills, completing quests, triggering special events. You fight against almost all types of creatures along the way. There are lots of creatively designed quests, wicked traps, funky teleports, surprising and rewarding special events. Quest for Chaos Tombs now checks if hero can learn Chaos Magic, and correctly gives Grandmaster Chaos Magic skill. Also, the quest can only be completed once even if a saved game is reloaded. Quest for the two Nature heroes now takes into account that one or both heroes could escape by retreating to another town. There is now a "warning" message if the player dismisses the two Nature heroes. The town screens for all subterranean towns now show subterranean landscapes. The town screen for the Haven town now shows rough terrain. When combatting the cerberi on the upper level, the terrain is now volcanic, not grass. Many text messages have been re-written to accommodate the above changes.
